Our turnaround times for orders

Below is a guide on our turnaround times for orders. Please note that these timeframes are meant as a guide only and are not guaranteed and also do not include shipping times.

Do It Yourself products: Generally, orders consisting of DIY products only (no products that need to be manufactured by dizzi dezine) take from 1-7 working days to dispatch. Some typical order scenario’s and timeframes for DIY products are listed below:

1) A relatively small order that is in stock would leave our studio the next working day.

2) Orders that are not too large, but with some products out of stock can take up to 5 working days to leave our studio.

3) Orders consisting of many single units can take up to 7 working days to leave our studio due to the time it takes to pull all the products.

4) Orders consisting of large amounts of single products (eg. 150 DL metallic silver envelopes) and that are not in stock, can take up to 10 days to leave our studio.

5) All orders that are in stock (except large orders of single units) generally leave our studio between 1-2 working days.

Ready made stationery orders: These are typically invitations, reply cards, thank you cards or any other matching stationery can take up to 3 weeks to produce. Saying this, we can generally meet most deadlines, so please let us know if you are on a tight schedule.

DIY Stationery from our designer ranges: These would consist of invitations, reply cards, thanks you cards and other matching stationery would generally leave within 2 weeks of ordering. Again, this is usually the worst case scenario and most of these orders leave within a week of being paid for.

Special or large quantity orders: These orders could consist of a special item that we don’t usually sell, but have sourced for a customer or an unusually large quantity of a particular item (eg 1500 units of DL metallic silver envelopes) can take up to 3 weeks to arrive. These orders are dealt with on request and we would advise of the timeframe prior to taking the order.

Of course we endeavour to get all our orders out as soon as possible and these timeframes are generally a worst case scenario. You will receive an email within 1 working day of placing your order to advise of an intended shipping date. You are welcome to contact us to make an alternate arrangement, change the products or cancel the order, should your timeframe not be able to be met. Express Post does not guarantee a faster turnaround on your order, but is generally an overnight delivery to major cities and surroundings once the order leaves our studio. Also, please do let us know of any deadline you may have and we will do our best to meet this, or let you know if we cannot.

Please note that orders are only considered booked into production once they have been paid for. We do not consider orders finalised until this is done. If an order is placed, and we need to order more stock in to complete the order, this is not done until full payment is made.

Laser Cutting & Engraving Services: For laser cut names,  we pride ourselves in quick turn around time.  We recommend that you contact us as soon as you receive your guest list.   This will allow ample time, especially during peak wedding season, to have your order completed.   Generally, we can usually have orders despatched within the week that the order is placed.

For our engraving services, providing stock is on hand at the time you place your order, we can have your order ready for despatch/collection within the week that your order is placed.

If you require your order urgently, please don’t hesitate to let us know, as we can usually meet your deadline.

Urgent orders: We will do our best to accommodate any urgent deadlines. In busy periods we may charge a $50.00 surcharge to cover staff overtime and express re-stocking. Please contact us to confirm any urgent deadlines. At this stage we will let you know if there will be a surcharge.
