And because of this reason we thought
A wishing well would be great
(Only if guests wish to participate)
A gift of money is placed in an envelope
So in the future we hope
To furnish our home to its very best
And always remember it was
due to our guests

We don’t want to offend but we have it all,
all household goods and so much more.
To save you shopping, sit back and rest,
a gift of currency is our request.

Don’t go overboard or rob any banks,
any little thing will make us smile with thanks.
We supply the wishing well,
no wrapping, an envelope, and who can tell.

Now that we have saved you all the fuss,
it would be appreciated if you would come
and celebrate with us

To support us on our special day you may wish to follow with tradition and bring a gift. Alternatively you might like to help make our honeymoon a little more special. For this reason we have chosen a wedding wishing well also. The wishing well will be at the reception where we can receive your best wishes and contribution.

A little suggestion, just in case
You were thinking of buying us bed spreads and plates.
For some time now, we've rented a little home,
So most furnishing we already own.
And now for a deposit we are trying to save
To buy our own house and a family raise.
The gift of money we'd appreciate
(That is, if you'd like to participate).
So if you do give to our money tree
Eternally grateful we would be.

We have not drawn up a wedding present list because as you will appreciate, it will be difficult to carry gifts back to Canada. As we are currently buying items for our home, gifts in the form of money would be preferred.

Rules and Regulations

The first you must come and if you’re to be our guest
You must eat and drink a lot, or do your very best!
 
The second ones an order so don't bring two left feet
As when the evening comes around you must
dance to the beat!
 
The third rule can be broken we really do not mind
But if you choose to follow it, Thank you for being so kind
 
We’ve lived together for a while now,
and are set up well for life
We do love receiving presents
but can save some shopping strife;
 
The tradition of the wishing well used on a wedding day,
will be available both for some money gifts,
and for what you would like to say.
 
But the choice is really up to you and we would like to say
That we just hope you come and enjoy yourselves,
and share our special day!
